We’re Andy, John, and Will. We like Shogi Puzzles, Programming, and old console-based Videogames. And using Programming to extract Shogi Puzzles from console-based Videogames from the 80s and 90s.

If you’re interested in Shogi and Programming, we’ll have some blog posts about how we ended up learning about chess programming, and how old Shogi engines evolved as chessprogramming did.

If you’re interested in Shogi in old Videogames, you may be surprised to find out there are a lot of them. They’re mostly in Japanese, but you can play them on Telemelt, online, with your friends. You can collaboratively solve Tsume already, just like we did.

If you’re interested in Videogames and Programming, we will eventually teach you how to create your own cheat codes. We use Mesen2 for this.
